Skills, services and / or productsViessmann provides our trade partners with an extensive range of services to facilitate their day-to-day work. These services include support from the Technical Services Department, a 24-hour online information and ordering system, and a software range that is adapted to the customers’ needs (such as programs to study heating plants). The heating market is shifting towards energy-efficient techniques and renewable energy. As a result, the heating product range is expanding and our trade partners must keep up by continuously improving their qualifications. The Viessmann Academy meets this need by offering a range of training program to installers, consulting firms, architects, service and maintenance companies, and even our own employees.
Viessmann's comprehensive product range includes wall-mounted condensing units from 1.9 to 150 kW, freestanding condensing boilers from 1.9 to 6,000 kW, and combined heat and power (CHP) stations from 1.0 to 530 kWel or 5.3 to 660 kWth that operate on natural gas or biogas.
Viessmann's renewable energy range includes solar thermal systems equipped with flat-plate or evacuated tube collectors for hot water, supplemental heat, and building cooling; special 4 kW to 50 MW boilers that burn logs, woodchips, and pellets; and 1.7 to 2,000 kW heat pumps that use heat from the ground, groundwater, or air; and PV systems.
Viessmann has a complete biogas range, from feasibility studies to management of raw materials, platform systems management, and engineering. The company's Vitobloc CHP units now boast an entirely new concept including an environmentally-friendly biogas delivery contract. In addition to reducing environmental pollution, these units also present significant economic advantages. This range includes data monitoring and reporting components as well as all the heat storage devices.
